What happens if nothing changes?
Not in the "everything will probably be fine" way we all use to survive busy weeks. I mean, what does fall actually look like if your enrichment plan stays exactly as it is?
Maybe it's fine. If so, lovely. Close this email and enjoy the rare feeling of having something handled.
But if you already know there's a gap, it's probably not going to become less annoying once the school year gets busier. Teachers will still need relief. Kids will still need something fresh. Parents will still notice whether their child is excited or just getting through the day.
And sometime around November, someone will probably say, "Next year we need to plan this earlier." This is earlier. That's the uncomfortable part.
The schools that head into fall feeling calm didn't get there by accident. They made a few decisions before the chaos arrived, while there was still time to choose the right support.
